Description Tass Iliopoulos 2005-10-24 17:28:39 UTC
When loaded in the same playlist, Squeezebox2 will not progress from one track
to the next without intervention with the SKIP button.
Softsqueeze is happily able to play the lot without needing to be touched.

Also, bitrate displayed in information is incorrect (100000kbps+) but I'm unsure
if this is related.

Using WMAs from http://www.users.on.net/~tass/audio/NewOrder/ and nightly SVN at
23rd Oct 2005 - Firmware rev 26.

The gigantic bitrate issue was fixed in another bug today for tonight's nightly
build.

I've downloaded the WMA files you listed and am able to reproduce the problem.

Should be fixed with firmware 27 in tonight's nightly release. Please test and reopen if there are still issues. Thanks.

Moving between tracks now works, but there is an issue with the display.

I'm just watching it play, and after track 2 finished (I pressed PLAY from track 2) the remaining countdown counted all the way back to 0, hit 0 just as the song finished, the next song started (track 3) but the display still had the details for track 2 and the timer counted back to 0:-18 before switching the "Now Playing" display to track 3.
Now Track 3 finished while 18 seconds remained on the counter, but this time the display corrected itself as track 4 started.

Side note - Should I be able to FFwd and REWind WMAs now that they are native?? I cannot and if I try I can't get the track to continue playing and need to restart it from the beginning. Makes this bug a little annoying to test is all!

might be related to bug 2510 if you have synced players.

fwd/rew of wma is bug571. yes, it should work if native, but doesn't yet.

Looks like dean put in a fix for the time display problem in change 5095.
please confirm with Nov 9 builds.

Yes, this fixes the cosmetic issue of the negative time, but the new track name doesn't update properly. Still looking into that.

fixed last issue for tonight's nightly release. track names should change at the proper time.

please verify and if there's any issue, please reopen.
