Description Paul Forgey 2005-11-06 10:06:22 UTC
This happens with my slimp3 player - I don't know about other players.
Reproduction steps:

1- have the slimp3 player playing stuff
2- hit the power button on the slimp3 player's remote to turn it off
3- the web UI shows the power state off and the stream state paused
4- hit play in the web ui

The resulting error occurs and the playlist is trashed.

Comment 1 Blackketter Dean 2005-11-06 15:32:59 UTC
I'm having trouble reproducing this with either a SLIMP3 or Squeezebox2.

Please confirm that the version you are running version 6.2.0 (or better yet, try the 6.2.1 beta)...
Comment 2 Paul Forgey 2005-11-06 19:17:47 UTC
Now that I try some more it's not as reproducible as I thought. It was happening while I experienced #2205 (which is 100% reproducible for me), so perhaps it could be weird browser behavior. I'll give 6.2.1 a try, but I've been seeing these errors since 5.x and I thought I finally trapped it into something I could reproduce.

Comment 3 Blackketter Dean 2005-11-06 19:39:43 UTC
Paul, do you really mean bug 2205?
Comment 4 Paul Forgey 2005-11-06 19:51:41 UTC
sorry - 2505, which is the other bug I entered recently.
Comment 5 Blackketter Dean 2007-10-22 16:43:47 UTC
This should be fixed in 7.0. Please reopen if it's still an issue.
