Description Sue Chastain 2005-11-03 21:33:45 UTC
Mick explained this better than I could in bug 2169, so I'll just c/p here:

If I ffwd to about the last minute of a song and then let the remainder of the
song play out, the time remaining goes -1:12, -1:11, -1:10 etc then the
playback "gauge" jumps back to near the start of the song (when I started
ffwding) and the time remaining displays -4:50.

However it's only a graphical glitch and the player moves on to the next track
in the playlist as normal.

Sue - is this still an issue with 6.5?

Thanks

I have not installed 6.5. I'm on 6.3.1.

Adrian - is this an issue for 6.5 still? I don't have a player in front of me right now.

Thanks

I can't reproduce [no mp3s!], but looking at the code, I would have thought that for SB2 current code will get the songtime wrong when returning to rate = 1 as it uses the elapsed time returned from the player at this point?

assigning to me to see if it's still an issue

I can't repro this with 6.5, fw62.
