Can we add a browse by year option?

It would be even better if it could have a start/end year option. i.e. UI
interface works as follows: 
Browse by Year->Single Year->Tracks
Browse by Year->Range->Start Year->End Year->Tracks

Scrolling to extreme ends of available years brings up "Range"
