When you scan (partial or full) the database via the 'settings' screen, the status of the current scan used to be reported in the lower left corner of the main control / player screen. This progress report no longer appears.

This appears to be similar or identical to a bug reported some years ago that I found labeled Bug 9704. Although marked 'New' yet dating back to 2008/9, that bug seems to have been fixed because this scan status report appeared on the main screen prior to server version 7.6.0. Now it doesn't appear at all. The only way to know when a scan has completed now is to open the 'settings' screen and look at the Information tab.
