Description mpower9 2011-02-03 18:39:36 UTC
FW v. 7.5.3-r9283 using mysqueezebox.com and the little Radio remote.

When the alarm goes off in the morning it turns on Vermont Public Radio. I choose turn it off and the screen shows the name of the station and the generic internet radio picture as though paused. Then I press the power button to put the radio in standby and the screen displays the digital clock screen and a black background which is what I want.

However, when I return to the bedroom after breakfast, I am surprised to find the clock screen saver is gone and the radio station name and the generic internet picture are back, just as though I never turned it off to standby. (The station is not playing and there is no sound.)

So far I have only observed this behavior after the alarm turn off. The rest of the time I think it works as expected. If I observe this behavior in other circumstances, I will update.

I've not been able to reproduce this in 7.6. The fixes in bug #16398 and bug #17123 could have actually fixed this bug, but I'll leave it open for now and retarget for 7.6.x.

Ben - Since installing 7.6, I have not experience this behavior so as far as I am concerned you can take it off the bug list. It looks like it got taken care of. Thanks for your response.
