Pressing the pause button dismisses the alarm. 

From the test cases listed in google docs this should not happen for the pause button.

that's a documentation bug then, because that's proper behavior.

pressing pause should dismiss the popup and pause the audio

I've updated my EVT doc accordingly, if that is the google doc you speak of
