Different reports about the web interface being broken have come up. There are imho two issues:

- too aggressive caching
- page never finishes downloading

The first can be encountered eg. on the settings pages where parameters seem to be reset all the time 
(they are _not_). Try eg. adding a plugin to the player's interface and moving entries up and down. (see 
bug 1631). 

The second is especially annoying with the status page: sometimes it does not finish loading, thus 
blocking further updates or page requests.

IMHO this is due to change 3283. When I reverted trunk/server/Slim/Web/HTTP.pm to revision 3155 it 
worked again as expected.

MSIE6 seems to be immune against that problem. I tested with Opera 7.5x Windows, Opera 8 Linux, 
Firefox (W/L), MSIE6 and slimserver.exe. Other users reported these problems mainly with FF.

There are 536 bugs in the database with targets of '---' that were fixed prior to new year 2006.  I am setting them to targets of 6.2.1 to keep them from showing up in my queries.
