I suggest that you add a tray notification ti display the current song playing using your settings defined in Settings > Player > Title Format.

I work from my laptop and with wireless headphones so am rarely near my Squeezebox Boom. Having the Song Title appear as a tray notification would be great.

Foobar2000 does this well.
