Started with Radio (baby) connected to music from Touch with SD card. switched to internet radio station plays fine, but now playing displays current playlist "nothing"  also the status indicators at the lower left are not there. 
Switched back to content on the Touch took several attempts. played okay then switched back to internet radio and displays okay.

Note: battery was charging while the now playing was incorrect

Hi Ryan, to clarify, you are saying that while playing internet radio, the now-playing screen lists 'Nothing'?

also: what NP screen? Radio or Touch?

Back to Ryan for clarification. Please note that attaching a Radio to a SB Touch won't switch the Touch's display to control the Radio. You can happily be using the radio, while the Touch's player part is idle, thus "nothing" on its now playing screen. Is this what you're seeing?

the now playing screen was on RADIO It was playing but the now playing indicator  with the word "nothing" the same as if you have removed everything from the playlist. Also the status indicator where pause play stop are in the corner was blank.

I couldn't reproduce this at all, but I'll leave it open in case Ryan can reproduce it, or a user sees it and can contribute to the bug as well.

I have not been able to reproduce this with touch 8504 and radio 8445

Change that last statement I partially reproduced this. The status indicator in the lower left went away (no arrow no square no pause). After selecting some other radio station the indicator came back.

I have a funny feeling that this may be related to bug 15723 The icons getting messed up when connected to tinySC.
