Under music scan details, I get a weird time display next to the progress
indicator. See attached screen shot. In the Web UI, it shows as normal
hours:minutes:seconds. I don't know how I'm supposed to interpret the numbers
in the WHS console.

What version/revision are you using? Do you see this with every scan?

This was in Version: 7.4.1 - r28947.
I  had seen it a while back when 7.4 was still beta, so it has been there a while. I'm usually unconscious during scans so I hadn't noticed it again until the other day.

Is this wrong display a temporary issue, or do you see it during all the  
scan process?

It's displayed wrong the whole time the scan is happening.

But not on every scan, is it? Anything in the logs?

I don't normally look at the console while a scan is running, since they usually happen while I am sleeping. I just happened to notice it yesterday and thought it was odd, so I reported it. The scan completed normally, and the elapsed time was displayed properly in the webUI, just not in the console add-in. The scanner.log only has info from this morning's new/changed scan, and all looks normal.

Maybe related to Bug 14959.  Sue: what type of music is your WHS scanning?  WMA, MP3, AAC....

Almost entirely MP3, with a very small amount of WMA.

Sue: please keep testing the latest builds of 7.5, hopefully this error will get corrected when the scanner engine is rewritten.
