Description Osama Zaidan 2009-10-27 12:25:29 UTC
The Transporter shows the following from the “More Info” menu of the playing song

Bitrate:89kbps VBR(Converted to 705.6Kbps ABR)

The song file = Apple Lossless
Size          = 47.4 MB
Sample Rate   = 48.000 KHz
Sample Size   = 16 bit
Channel       = Stereo

Steven, indicated that the scanner is reading or calculating the wrong information, but the decoder should be playing the file at the right bit rate.

The files in question were encoded by iTunes 8.2.0.23.

In SBS 7.5.0 they show as 733kbps VBR

733kbps is probably right, if you still think there is a bug please attach the file or send it to me.

In that screenshot, the Windows tag viewer is wrong and is showing the uncompressed bitrate.
