Description Daniel Born 2005-04-30 10:18:29 UTC
I removed all my "... (disc x of y)" in my album titles and created
corresponding tags for DISC (x) and DISCC (y).

I wipe the cache and rescan and my multi-disc albums come up as one
(independent of the settings in Server Settings -> Behaviour -> Group Discs).
My albums come up as:
ALBUM NAME
01 - FIRST TRACK OF FIRST ALBUM
01 - FIRST TRACK OF SECOND ALBUM
02 - SECOND TRACK OF FIRST ALBUM
02 - SECOND TRACK OF SECOND ALBUM
...

Bug 225 only work seems to work for FLAC's, not MP3's.

For FLAC's simply using the DISC/DISCC tags do work (ss 6.0.2) as my songs get
sorted by disc# and then track#.

For MP3's I have never been able to achieve the same. I tried TPOS, TPA, DISC,
DISCC, SET to no avail. Used Mp3tag V2.3 to do the tagging.

This feature works correctly in the 6.1 nightlies.

I just tested with TPA & TPOS (as set by iTunes).

Please download the 6.1 nightly and give it a try.

If you're still having an issue, please reopen and attach two of the problem MP3s.

Thanks

This bug was marked resolved in Slimserver 6.1, which is several versions ago. If you're still seeing this bug, please re-open it. Thanks!
