NETWORK HTTP PROXY PROBLEM
Last modified: 2009-10-09 09:38:52 UTC
The proxy feature is great and EXTREMELY important to all those that for whatever reason need a proxy. The problem is that many (if not most) proxy servers require a user name and password. If this is not available, the Proxy Server denies service to the user. It would be fantastic if this issue could be solved. I need to use a proxy server permanently and I pay for this service a monthly fee. Yes, there are free servers around that require no password but they are useless. My squeezebox is a fantastic device, the best i've tried in a very long time. I am waiting for the new Squeezebox Touch, I will buy two of those as soon as they become available, one for home another for my office. We then need an IPOD type squeezebox that can use mobile Internet! Many thanks, keep me posted. AUGUSTO GABALDONI
