Based on the outcome of bug 14571, a redesign will need to be created for the web remote control.  This MAY be a larger design effort that also includes changes/overlap for the Squeezebox Server Web UI (the player-control portion).

Initial time est. = 40 hrs.  This could increase or decrease depending on the eventual product spec.

Matt Weldon isn't available to us any more.  Please vote for this bug to make sure it appears in our priority list!

Let's close this "bug" and define new action items once marketing gives the web UI some more priority.

Feel free to file new bug reports on issues with the existing web remote.
