specifically this bug is about auto-skin switching options. couldn't remember if there's a bug already open for this, so this is it.

We do not plan to support auto-switching in menu screens for 7.5, though we will launch with 3' and 10' skins, which the user can choose between in "remote" mode.  There will be no auto-switching on NP screens; instead, the "remote mode" will be designed to help support a 10' view.  If/when proximity detector becomes more reliable, we will revisit auto-switching.

We've made this decision, leaving .5 hours to verify implementation before release

This is basically fixed and is now actually technically a duplicate I believe...

This bug has been marked fixed in a released version of Squeezebox Server or the accompanying firmware or mysqueezebox.com release.
