Description Dan Evans 2009-09-26 08:38:37 UTC
Using r7757, I tried waking to SB Radio's alarm this morning. What should have been quiet classical was instead Fa Fa.

When Radio was set up, it was connected to a local SB Server. The server computer was shut down late last night. So, yeah, I understand that SB Radio thought it'd lost connection to the server, and so... played the backup alarm. But I'd selected an internet radio station as the alarm. That should _not_ be dependent on a local server running or not. SB Radio should have been able to play it regardless.

Note: while we understand what happened here, the customer will not! There is no longer a way to select SqueezeNetwork explicitly, so there's no way to control this situation. SB Radio needs to handle this correctly.

actually not the same...

Dan, very fair point on this, but I think it will be a while before we can make the time to address this. The solution will be tricky I think...

Tom, this I think is really an auto-switching issue. Passing to you.
