Description Mickey Gee 2009-09-20 10:43:22 UTC
I was testing a fully charged battery-only Baby with firmware r7664. I put it into hibernation by holding down the Power button for 5 seconds. I was going to read the battery parameters after 1 hour, so I set my kitchen timer. After the kitchen timer alarm sounded after 1 hour, I turned on Baby. I had to hold down the Power button 20 seconds to keep Baby on like in bug 14120. I call this mode "Emergency Automatic Shutoff" mode.

To workaround it, I put Baby into hibernation again. I was able to normally turn it immediately after by pressing the Power button momentarily.

The expected behavior would be that when Mickey pressed the button after 1 hour, the unit should have turned on.

QA to reproduce
Comment 3 Mickey Gee 2009-09-22 15:55:34 UTC
Tried a few times to reproduce but couldn't. Latest attempt was with r7679 firmware and battery-only PVT2 unit with battery voltage = 14.139v, but still couldn't.

In all attempts, Baby turned on when I pressed the Power button momentarily.

Closing bug for now and will reopen if seen again.
