Bugzilla – Bug 14120
Hold down Power button 20 seconds to turn ON hibernating battery-only Baby
Last modified: 2009-09-22 09:08:20 UTC
I've left my Baby go into hibernation a few times. This is when my Baby is turns itself really off after some length of time. Once it's in the state, I've had to hold down the Power button to turn Baby back on. I've tried holding the button down for 1, 2, 5, 10, and 15 seconds. When you do this, the Logitech logo appears on the screen but disappears when you release the button. For some reason, holding down the button for 20 seconds works and Baby completes the power on. I'm running firmware r7622 with a PVT2 battery-only Baby.
This is correct behavior, if your battery is dead. If it is not dead, this is not correct behavior. I need to take a look. This is my bug for sure, if it's a real bug.
Battery icon on home page showed 50% full. Sure could use that diagnostic info on battery status!
Seems better with 7652 firmware. Let me investigate some more.
Still happens. I didn't wait long enough on previous try. Previously I waited perhaps 1 hour. This time I waited 7 hours. Firmware actually r7653. Battery icon says 50% full.
