At one or two MV Engineering meetings ago Richard suggested that this log collection mechanic could be used to solve bug 8535-- gathering logs from customers.

One line fix for today so we can have a single line that can be parsed for useful info. 
Also, Richard will take himself off the email list and go to the archive for now.

Need to file a new bug describing the longer term solution

fixes bug 14101: all SP crashes generate short syslog messages which are routed to Splunk, and full debug emails are ratelimited to 1 per daemon per minute.  More complete solution will come after we settle down from 7.4.0 deployment

This bug has been fixed in the latest release of MySqueezebox.com (formally known as SqueezeNetwork)!
