Description James Richardson 2009-08-28 10:25:29 UTC
Starting with MP 7260 (bug 13662)and moving onto 7.4 branch 7261 > I have noticed that the woofer on the Baby will cut out after playing for a time. The tweeter is still active

This will happen with the Demo and other content.

Plugging in headphones, the audio is fine. Removing headphones the audio from speakers is still messed up.
Comment 2 James Richardson 2009-08-28 11:26:03 UTC
If you enable/disable the line-in, this will cause audio to work/fail.

enable line in, it works, disable it still works, enable again, it fails...kinda like a random toggle.

I just heard something that may be the same, but I hadn't done anything with the Line-In settings. It happened spontaneously in the middle of a Rhapsody track and never came back. Power cycling the Baby fixed it.

This is, I hate to say it, an audio swap issue again. I believe it has to do with adding Line-in, but richard will have to confirm next week.

Bug #13748
Fixed bug introduced with recent audio changes, that cause a pop every 10 seconds (when the output buffer
wrapped).
Fixed playback on desktop, due to an initialized local variable (why did the compiler not complain??)

This may fix the channel swap on baby.
