Description Spies Steven 2009-08-25 11:26:51 UTC
Baby sounds very tinny with MP r7260. It sounds as if the woofer is not being driven and the tweeter is being driven full range. This results in the sounds effects and the in store demo sounding horrible.

Oh boy.

I still don't know why we're updating the audio for MP2. AT first I thought MP2 would be derived from trunk, but since MP2 derives from MP1, I think perhaps we should just leave it alone.

It works as is.

Try the previous build, does that work better. I'm concerned the crasher workaround has introduced a channel swapping problem.
Comment 3 Mickey Gee 2009-08-30 22:20:06 UTC
Changing product to allow tracking for MP2 milestones.
Comment 4 Spies Steven 2009-08-31 17:15:12 UTC
After trial and error it seems that the audio was working properly with r7198 but not with r7200. I hope this helps zero in on the issue.

Fixed Bug #13662
Applied L/R channel swap fix to MP branch.
Also remove crasher workaround from kernel (this check-in restores the crasher).

Moving old Baby bugs to new group. Most of these are probably so old as to be invalid.
