To simplify WPS setup and make the list of options less confusing, how about we simply remove the PIN method?  That would leave:

 * Push-button method (easy)
 * Password entry (secure)

Do we know for a fact people won't be using PIN? 

See also bug 12229. If the problem is it's confusing, lets make it less confusing with clearer options, not by removing options we're presuming people won't use.

Ross, apologies, I had completely forgotten about your proposal when this came up this morning.

I agree we should review bug 12229 and see if that's a good enough solution before proceeding with this.
