r6838.  I can play music using the touch interface via any of the context menus.  But if I touch a track in an album's track listing it pushes right into the NP screen, but doesn't play the track or alter the playlist.

Seeing the same thing here as I set thing up in my new house. Squeezecenter bug maybe?

fixed in r6847.  (Was broken trying to fix bug 13097, which was done to make the factory reset continue button work - Andy is looking into that.)
