Bugzilla – Bug 13016
"Current Playlist" is correct terminology for the current playlist
Last modified: 2009-10-05 14:25:56 UTC
bug#12066 changes the wording on Squeezeplay to use "Current Playlist" as the term for what has previously been called "Playlist" or "Now Playing Playlist". Other UIs (Web, IP3K) need to conform with this. http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Terminology I've added this to SC's strings.txt, so SLT should translate on next pass. === strings.txt ================================================================== --- strings.txt (revision 34526) +++ strings.txt (local) @@ -642,6 +642,9 @@ SV Spellista ZH_CN 播放表 +CURRENT_PLAYLIST + EN Current Playlist + PLAYLISTS CS Seznamy skladeb DA Afspilningslister
Would this replace the "Now Playing" menu item, but not the title of the same name (displayed in the NP screensaver)?
I'm honestly stumped on this one. I don't see why we would change the name of "now playing" in this case. (Don't have an ip3k player hooked up in front of me at the moment :/). I would say: don't change the name "Now Playing," but in cases where we have the term "playlist" or "now playing playlist" to refer to the NP playlist, we swap in the term "Current Playlist." Hope that makes sense.
On an Ip3K player if you drill into "Now Playing", you get the track that is currently playing and the text is "Now Playing". If you scroll up or down it replaces the text with "Playlist". I think all we need to do is change that one occurrence of "Playlist" with "Current Playlist" and we can be done with it on Ip3K. Everyone okay with that?
yup, sounds good, nice catch
change 27887 - use CURRENT_PLAYLIST instead of just PLAYLIST on the classic players too
