Description James Richardson 2009-07-10 09:41:12 UTC
Starting ~ build 27400, Windows Tray Icon doesn't think SC is running even though it is.

Right clicking on the Icon displays "start SBS" the icon doesn't show the 'blinking lights'

Attempting to start the server will generate "there is already another copy of SBS running on this machine' errors in the logs

The Control Panel lists the 'start SBS" button as well

Any firewall changes? Using a non-standard port? Reproducible on any machine? I see too little feedback to this bug to believe it's true ;-)
Comment 2 James Richardson 2009-07-21 08:53:03 UTC
So far I am the only one seeing this??

I can repo this on a VM & Real System, Vista & XP & W7, Upgrade from 7.3.3 or Fresh install...

If I'm the only one seeing this, then please mark the bug as low priority

I am using built in Windows Firewall, standard ports.

Sounds scary... service or app mode? I'll see what I see.
Comment 4 James Richardson 2009-07-21 09:14:32 UTC
What ever the 'default' mode is. App is currently how the installer works, yes?

Yes.

Oh well, oh well... never rename a product. It causes all sorts of hassle - eg. a process monitor monitoring the wrong process...

change 27854 - need to monitor SqueezeSvr.exe instead of SqueezeCenter.exe

SC is really stopped this time. new issue - new bug? if so please move this comment to a new bug
Comment 9 Andy Grundman 2009-07-29 09:50:22 UTC
Fixed.
Comment 10 Michael Herger 2009-07-29 23:56:22 UTC
James - any reason you re-opened this bug instead of creating a new one?
SC actually _is_ (was) crashing. The tray icon reported this correctly as
"stopped" :-)

Thanks Andy for fixing.
