Our tray icon is a tiny image of a Squeezebox 3.  And while I like it, I must admit that most of our customers (current and new) will not know what it is.

We should consider a new icon that evokes our more modern Squeezebox designs.

A similar proposal was raised in part of the original brand re-fresh. For development to take place this probably warrants a meeting to discuss overall direction of the SMBU and any corporate guidelines...

Not sure if this makes 7.4, but hopefully it will.  We're looking at a global system icon that handles favicon, system tray, desktop shortcut icon, etc.

Weldon reassigning to you.  From our meeting today it sounds like we are going to punt the System icon to a later release pending feedback and general guidelines from Central Marketing.
