I performed a factory reset on baby, after which none of my scanned buttons worked.  The power + rotaries worked fine, but back, play, and all the small buttons didn't work.

It started working again after unplugging and repowering.

I attempted again, and was unable to reproduce the issue.  

But it was real.  Really :-)
