observed in r2805 syncing an sb1 and sb2.

customer reported bug.

also, this does not happen upon performing the actual sync, and if you change
the volume on one it does not change the other.

but as soon as new track starts, the volume is synced between the two.

Looks to me like this was reported with the beta's as bug1216
