Description Morgan 2005-03-28 06:22:21 UTC
This weekend I found a strange anomally. I had three (3) Sqeezeboxes
synchronized. I found that freqently the volume of one or more of the three
would change significantly when the next song in the playlist played. This was
also visible on the slimserver http interface on the volume control showing a
higher volume. It got the stage at one point where I would reduce the the
volume on player A, and the next song would reset it to a different volume (I am
guessing the volume of another device playing the same track). I tried this
numerous times with the same results.

Notes:

Volume Sync is off
Only happens when players are sync'd (single player does not experience prolem)
Not accountable becuase of digital volume levels; I tried this withy a single
track in the playlist and the volume jumped when repeating track.
This is on 6.0b3

Thanks...Richard
