DAC controls need to be managed, including headphone detect, line-in detect, power amp power up/down, etc.

Headphone detection added in r6309.

This bug has been identified as one that may not be required for MPQ since it now seems clear that MPQ and MP firmwares will be different.  Please comment if you disagree with this assessment.  Thanks!

Audio driver is now implemented. Remaining issues are in bugs:

bug 12739  Verify Line-in is functional
bug 12740  Speaker pops on power on
bug 12741  Headphone pops on power on
