Line in to CPU has not been full tested and needs to be verified.

Top: Recording, Bottom is source.

Top: Recording, Bottom is source. The sharp bits on the top are actually in the source as output from an old SB3. (as a result of the antialiasing filters).

Richard suggested
arecord -D dac -d 10 -c 2 -f S24_LE -r 44100 /tmp/foo.wav

It creates a file format that audacity & sox don't like.

arecord -D dac -d 10 -c 2 -f S16_LE -r 44100 /tmp/foo.wav

works like a charm.

Tested on r6430 from mysqueezebox.com.
