If I do a factory reset, the fab4 has no wallpaper, just a black background, until I select a wallpaper.

may also occur on other devices, but I haven't checked.  After doing a factory reset, the player should have the default wallpaper...

I commented on this in bug 12170, which should probably be reopened.

To me, this behavior is ideal.  Maybe it's why no one else has commented on it to date - because it seems intentional.  The all-black background is more neutral than any of the wallpapers, including Nocturne.  For that reason, I think it should be the default, and it needs to be added as a selection among the wallpapers, even if it's called 'None'.

known as SqueezeNetwork)!
