another small sample APE file crashing the scanner

Trying to scan my collection of test cases often fails on APE files. One example is the file attached to bug 3769 (https://bugs-archive.lyrion.org/attachment.cgi?id=1350). No error message printed, just the filename, then the scanner stops.
