Description Andre 2006-07-15 18:00:58 UTC
Gentleman,

I'm having a weird behaviour in my database. Most of my albums are single FLAC+cuesheet files but I also have some APE, MP3 and MPC tracks. I've noticed that my database is showing two Massive Attack entries one for FLAC, MPC and one for a specific ape album. I'm uploading sample files.

Hi Andre,

Is this with 6.3.0 or 6.3.1?

Many duplicate artist bugs have been fixed in 6.3.1. Have you tried it? Or is this one still a problem?

SlimServer Version: 6.3.1 - 8406 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252
Comment 5 Chris Owens 2006-07-17 16:13:54 UTC
Happens in 6.5 as well.
Comment 6 Dan Sully 2006-07-18 16:10:21 UTC
The APE file's artist tag contains a trailing null.

Subversion change 8493 strips the nulls.
