Description mike bryn 2009-04-20 07:19:23 UTC
When trying to play certain Live365 stations (e.g., Emjoy, which is a member only station), there is no playback, and the following error reported on SB3 screen:

"Problem: Unable to play file type for:
Emjoy"
Comment 1 James Richardson 2009-04-21 16:23:02 UTC
When you get this error, is your SB3 connected to SqueezeNetwork or SqueezeCenter

If connected to SqueezeCenter, can you please set Advanced > Logging > plugin.live365 to DEBUG

Generate the error, then attach the log file to this bug.

Also, please try 7.3.3 BETA to verify the error occurs in that version.

Testing against SqueezeNetwork, I am unable to see the same error

Players had somehow become disconnected from SN. Deleted all and re-added. Problem solved.
Comment 3 James Richardson 2009-04-22 14:40:20 UTC
Mike: thanks for the update, I'll close the bug for now then. If anyone else sees the issue, and following the steps in the forum doesn't work, please reopen and provide logs.

Unfortunately, this problem seems to persist. With all players now registered and recognized by Squeezenetwork, I get the following error for Emjoy on Live365:

[09-08-18 09:14:47.9290] Slim::Player::Song::open (341) Error: Couldn't create command line for xml playback for [live365://www.live365.com/play/fkorf]

Other Live365 stations that I have preset seem to work.

Station plays in Live365 web interface.

Thanks for the extra info

Andy, does this help narrow down the issue? Let me know if you need anything else.

this is an administrative shuffle on priority fields to help make better judgment on the top end of the priority list. P4->P5, P3->P4, and P2->P3.

7.4.x milestone is in the past
