Description Spies Steven 2009-04-15 16:12:59 UTC
Not sure of the expected behavior here but I just noticed that the top of the now playing playlist displays "Stopped" when stopped "Paused" when paused and "Playlist" when playing. I think it should be "Now Playing" or perhaps just "Playing" when playing.

It should say Current Playlist, QA to verify this has been addressed in later firmware versions.

Wait, no, this isn't a duplicate. Steven, are you saying the actual "Now Playing" screen is saying "Playlist?"

It should never say that. It should say either:

"Now Playing"

or

"Stopped"

or

"Paused"

It was at the time I filed this bug, I have not noticed it for a while.

Reopening this bug as a Fab4 bug, as that is the only SP platform that displays this message.

the other SP platform does not.

We're talking about the 'Current Playlist' screen, and _not_ the 'Now Playing' screen, correct?

If so, I'm seeing the same thing - the title of the Current Playlist screen displayed in the header is 'Current Playlist' while playing, 'Paused' when paused, and 'Stopped' when stopped.

IMO it should always read 'Current Playlist', regardless of the playback state. Leave the other for the NP screen, if desired. The current playlist is always just that, no matter what the player is doing.

Exactly right.
