Description Richard Patterson 2009-03-30 07:58:56 UTC
When upgrade to 7.3 there is a problem with Boom after server has been in sleep mode.

If (say) playing an internet radio station (e.g. BBC iPlayer) on the Boom, stop playing via the Boom remote controller - then PC running the 7.3 server software enters sleep mode, after waking the PC (via the remote & Wake Up On LAN feature) the Boom emits a loud buzzing noise. Only way to clear is to either power sequence (at the mains) the Boom or reboot PC running software.

This does not happen with the Sqeezebox3 running on the same wireless network & connected to the same server.

Also does not happen with version 7.2 software.
