Hi, 
   I think you should be able to audition alarm sounds where you're actually choosing your alarm sound.  That you have to go somewhere else to listen to what you're alarm will be set to is very non-intuative.  This became abundantly clear when my son was trying to use it.



This thread (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=61760) coming on the heels of my son trying to do the same thing prompted me to open this ticket.

You should be able to press the PLAY button when scrolled to an alarm item to preview.  Is that not working for you?

Ah, I guess the problem is that 'play' is required.  I was hitting select, and I just get a visual bump.  I think if you have it selected, and hit right again, it should start playing.
