Bugzilla – Bug 11415
Use the "i" info icon and not the "?" icon on help pages where it goes to system status screen
Last modified: 2009-09-08 09:29:39 UTC
Noah is providing this icon for song info and we should reuse it.
actually we don't have an "i" icon with the same dimensions (50x22) as Icons/icon_help_button_tb.png assigning to Noah to create an Icons/icon_info_button_tb.png from there it should be assigned to Richard I believe. r4947 has full support in the skin for a button_info, just need the asset and the action support added.

looks good Noah, can you check those in?
Did we decide to get rid of the "1 of 20" in the playlist button? Also, your reference screen includes the two quarter note icon in the title bar. I thought we dropped all of those. Finally, we've lost the Now Playing title for what should appear on the home menu. Was that intentional? For this bug, let's only fix the "i" and address the other issues separately.

Following the changes in bug 11457 I don't think the i icon is now appropriate to get to the system diagnostics page. Matt/Dean what do you think?
1. Could we use a one option template with the option to "Learn more" at the bottom of the screen? This would replace the second "help" button from the titlebar. 2. Another option would be to add "learn more" text to the right titlebar button, however, I am not sure if this is desirable for localization. 3. We develop a special setup icon for system diagnostics or "learn more".
The "i" is fine and can be referred to in the text. I'm worried that the help screens will grow to be bigger than the screen and we don't have a way to have lots of text with a choice at the bottom. We'll need that eventually, but not for MP, I think.
Given our new approach using "Help" maybe we should use "Info"?
What do you think, Matt?
We are using "More" now, based on the comments in bug 11457. If that's ok then this bug can be closed, won't fix.
