Description Ritchie Argue 2009-02-16 14:26:11 UTC
It would be nice if I could point SqueezePlay (and a hardware device when I get that far) at my office to my home network without hardcoding the IP. Currently I use the dyndns.org service to track my home IP so it is easy to manage when the IP changes, but SqueezePlay (and the hardware players) can't take advantage of this.

Thanks for considering!

I believe this can be considered a dup of bug 2140

Why can't I access bug 2140? Is anything being done to solve this problem? I am behind a dynamic IP, and the only way I can listen to my music at work is via my DynDNS domain name - which SqueezePlay can't handle.

So, for now, I have to revert to SoftSqueeze.

Progress seems slow. That other bug is marked as limited visibility, and am not sure how you get on that list =P
