The Settings - Advanced - Remote Login page doesn't report an IP address when enabled.

The text at the bottom reads: "The password for remote login is 1234 and it can be reached at ?.?.?.?"  This is with Fab4 connected wirelessly, it used to be accurate when connected wired.

I'm on r3866 and SqueezeCenter is:

couldn't reproduce with the er firmware that isn't released yet (r3967), but will be VERY SOON, so have another look probably tomorrow morning :)

I'm still seeing this with r4689. Remote login shows a self-assigned IP, while information for the player shows the correct IP. This happens while Ethernet is disconnected and it's connected to a Belkin router. I'll see if this has anything to do with bug 8697 and test against some other routers.

Ross, this is working for me both wired and wireless.

Reopen if it's still happening for you.

What firmware Dean? r4875 I see a different problem when enabling remote login, it shows nothing!

Ah, the screen is blank until you enable ssh, then the IP address is written with a nice text.  

So, the basic issue is that the un-enabled text is missing.

This is partially fixed in r4924, so it's at least usable. But this screen does need review after with the latest UI templates.
