Description sbjaerum 2009-01-10 07:16:35 UTC
Without a connection to either SC or SN, I get no sound when selecting Line In.
When connected to SC, Line In works fine.
This is with 7.3 trunk and FW 42, I believe Line In from setup menu worked with FW 41.

Confirmed, Felix?

Could bug 9896 be related?
Comment 2 Felix Mueller 2009-01-16 08:16:31 UTC
Not related. It works fine here. Have you checked Booms volume and the volume of the device playing music? Also did you not accidentally plug in the cable into the line _out_?
Comment 3 James Richardson 2009-01-16 08:22:44 UTC
What firmware version are you on Felix

Tested with r41 & r42

My boom LINE IN volume is at 100
My MP3 player is at 100
Cable is plugged into the LINE IN

When in the BOOM Firmware Setup mode (hold left) then go to Line IN
Attach cable
attach device
play
NO Audio

Connect BOOM to either SN or SC *7.3.2)
repeat above
Audio works from Line In

bug 7681 ? is the amp on when in firmware mode?
Comment 5 Felix Mueller 2009-02-06 04:42:39 UTC
Fixed in rev5540. Will be in SBB fw 45.

Please also retest RTC alarm as I had to change some things regarding turning on and off the amplifier in order to fix the line in issue. Thanks.
