Example: I changed the "remote login" checkbox (which modifies the inetd.conf file", and shortly after (not sure how long) unplugged the fab4. when I restarted the inetd.conf file was there but was blank. I did a factory reset to get recover.

History: Richard is aware of this issue and he suggested making this bug.

Added a sync after settings files are written in r5255. This should be reverted once a proper fix is in place.

Changing from mini_fo to unionfs fixed this problem.
