I'm running 
Version: 7.3.2 - 24401 @ Tue Dec 23 03:13:39 PST 2008 and 7.3 r3587

This is NOT new to these releases.  I think it is new to 7.3.

I see menus disappear from the controller.  Right now, infobrowser is gone from extras and settings is completely empty, except the header on top that says settings.

Choosing a different player restores the entries!

This is a duplicate of bug 8948, QA is unable to come up with a 'reproducible' case for this issue.  Please add any comments or replicable case you have into bug 8948
