I searched the bug database but haven't found a similar entry. Maybe i used the wrong keywords...

In the player UI the active position in most (all?) menus - including Music Library and it's sub-menus like artists, genres, new music, ... - is saved, so if you later return the active entry is the same as when you left the menu.

I'd like to see the same behaviour on the SBC (and SP). It works for many (most?) menus but not for some sub-menus, like Artists, Albums, Genres, Years, New Music, Music Folder.
Those menus are (re)loaded each time you open them and you're always placed at the top of the list. This makes navigation a bit tedious if you need to scroll to the middle of the list many times (when building playlists for example)

I'm running SC7.3, SBC7.3r3469

Or is there an option i missed?

thanks, kdf. closing as duplicate, the other one is exactly the one i'm looking for.
