If a Boom has it's power off brightness set to level 0 (i.e. Dark), power on messages are not shown.  These include "Waking up SqueezeCentre..." (seen when sending a WoL packet) and "Wireless card not found!" (see bug 10070).

If the power off brightness is set to anything else, the messages are seen.  This doesn't effect Squeezebox.
