Description Julius Dauz 2008-11-17 15:13:32 UTC
Squeezenetwork will only display the first line of each feed below. The customer I am helping wants to have the feeds below scroll through all the articles before moving on to the next feed.

I am not sure if this ia a bug or an enhancement request, so I'm filing it as a bug for now, please change it if I am wrong.

There is no way (at present) to change the method of how PODcasts display the information. This would be an enhancement request, see bug 9150

Andy: would this be a SC or SN issue?
Comment 3 Andy Grundman 2008-11-17 17:32:53 UTC
There is a preference in SC for how many items to display in RSS screen saver mode, which is what I assume this refers to. Perhaps this preference needs to be enabled on SN.

Hello,
I am the customer that reported this - it seems exactly as Andy says i.e. in SC you can specify how many entries in each RSS feed it scrolls through before moving to the next RSS feed in the list but in SN it defaults to just the first entry in each RSS feed before it moves to the next RSS feed - is there an easy way to implement an RSS entry counter field in the SN RSS feed configuration screen and then reflect this in the way the SN version of the RSS screensaver works?
I am surprised that nobody else has asked for this to date or maybe I have missed similar requests elsewhere? I personally would find this very useful :-)
Thanks in advance.

Punting to next release.
Comment 6 Andy Grundman 2009-07-28 12:53:22 UTC
Punting bugs that won't make it for the next release.
