Bugzilla – Bug 9996
Unable to play wav or aiff with flac transcoding enabled.
Last modified: 2009-07-31 10:31:51 UTC
This only seems to be an issue on Mac OS X. Playing any wav or aiff file with flac transcoding enabled results in the file being skipped with no audio produced. Disabling wav or aiff to flac transcodoing allows the file to play normally.
Created attachment 4250 [details] Log with player.source set to debug
The log was produced while playing a test suite of wav files on Mac OS X with SqueezeCenter Version: 7.3 - 23916. Let me know if you need more of the log or if you would like me to attach the test suite of files to this bug.
I cannot reproduce this on Linux. Wav files play fine for me with wav->flc conversion. I do not have a Mac system to test on. If the test file a true wav file or is it just raw pcm? Try removing the --totally-silent argument from the line in convert.conf and see what error message you get.
Change 23931.
