Description Ross Levine 2008-11-12 11:32:22 UTC
Photos that are shot with the camera vertical show up sideways on Controller. It would be very nice if we could display them correctly.
Comment 1 Wallace Lai 2008-11-12 11:44:39 UTC
The problem maybe the other way around.
The pics taken with cameras turned vertically are being displayed on Jives correctly. However, the pics taken with the camera in normal (horizontal) position are rotated 90 degrees clockwise on the Jives.

Moving to the product SqueezePlay because this bug appears to apply to any player based on that application code. Feel free to move it back if it's specific to the single original product.

Reset priority before triage.
Comment 4 Pat Ransil 2009-07-30 18:56:38 UTC
Lets reassign this to someone internal.
Comment 5 James Richardson 2009-08-07 09:25:15 UTC
Why was this assigned to QA?
Comment 6 Andy Grundman 2009-08-10 08:24:21 UTC
So Flickr doesn't pre-rotate these photos, viewer apps are expected to check the EXIF data and rotate them? That sucks, but I guess SN could do this as part of image proxy.

OK this bug is invalid, pending work on bug 13318.
